NEIGHBORHOOD, has a long-standing relationship with the Adidas brand, having already completed a multitude of collaborations during their two decades of joint projects.
The duo released two unique iterations of the NMD S1 last year and are now set to revisit the Superstar for 2024, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of their first collaboration.
After being unveiled last week by NEIGHBORHOOD founder Shinsuke Takizawa, the latest iteration of the Adidas Superstar has been officially presented ahead of its scheduled release later this week.
NEIGHBORHOOD and Adidas' latest Superstar release comes in a monochromatic "Cement Gray" colorway that covers the entire sneaker, save for white co-branding elements.
These motifs range from the co-branded tongue label to the “NEIGHBORHOOD” text above the three lateral stripes, the “Craft With Pride” text at the heel and the Japanese brand’s logo at the lateral heel.
Next, a dubrae has been specially designed in grey, matching the “TOKYO” text on the heel of the midsole and its lightning design that runs from the heel of the midsole to the midfoot.
The pair drops today at adidas for $160 USD.
