The latest collaboration between Australian retailer Above the Clouds and Asics brings us the GT-2160.
The two companies previously launched a "Cream/Shamrock Green" version of the pair last October, which was enthusiastically received by sneakerheads around the world, prompting a repeat in 2024.
The pair now comes in three colorways that Above the Clouds was quick to tease on Instagram late last year. While the "Cream/Chocolate Brown" version dropped last month, fans are eagerly awaiting the black and white colorways that were previously teased.
Now that we're nearing the end of the year, more detailed images of both the black and white pairs have been shared. For starters, the white pair is obviously distinguished by a dominant white across its mesh and synthetic construction, with a semi-transparent section returning to the forefoot.
Silver grey appears on each side of the shoe, as well as the tongue and heel. As for the black pair, it relies on various shades of grey and black, while silver grey also adorns the heel and tongue.
At the time of writing, neither Above the Clouds nor ASICS have indicated when their launch will take place, although they have hinted that it will be sometime this year.
