Rockstar has just confirmed the information leaked earlier this week by various media outlets in the United States. In a brief statement, the studio assured that the game will be unveiled at the beginning of December!
This means that fans will be treated to an attractive trailer and probably a glimpse of the gameplay. It is clear that gamers around the world are waiting for this with great anticipation. Speculations surrounding the game abound, and the parent company, Take-Two, is already touting it as a revolution in the gaming world. Without a doubt, the anticipation for GTA 6 is exceptionally high, if not maximum.
Rockstar statement:
Next month marks the 25th anniversary of Rockstar Games.
Thanks to the incredible support of our players around the world, we’ve had the opportunity to create games we’re truly passionate about. Without you, none of this would be possible, and we’re so grateful to you for sharing this journey with us.
In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could become as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope to have created games you love as part of our efforts to be a part of that evolution.
We are very happy to announce that in early December we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We hope to be able to share these experiences with you all for many more years.
In a recent Bloomberg article, Jason Schreier hinted at the possibility of an official GTA 6 announcement sometime in the coming week. However, it's best not to get too excited about the reveal. Schreier suggests that a full-blown trailer will likely not be revealed until next month, in December, to coincide with Rockstar Games' 25th anniversary. Unfortunately, no specific date has been given at this time.
Some speculate about the possibility of a presentation at The Game Awards 2023, although Rockstar's habit is to operate alone. Thus, it is very likely that the GTA 6 trailer will appear on various networks on a normal day, outside of major media events.
